do laptop Protective Decal Skin Stickers leave residue when you remove them?

I am trying to decide whether to buy one of these stickers or not depending on their quality. Do they leave marks? are they easy to remove?
Also can anyone tell me where i can find hard shell covers for a 15 6 in hp notebook?

Yes they are very very hard to remove and leave bits, pieces, and stains. Shops will refuse to try charging you $200 to completely replace the display. If you are going to put one on, consider it permanent. Better yet -- don't get one. Custom hard shell covers don't exist. You would be wiser to go to a tattoo shop and get yourself a tattoo.
