What kind of laptop dock should I buy?

I have an HP notebook, and want to hook peripherals to it. Should I buy the HP docking station for the $100+ they advertise (I found one for $80 on eBay) or buy a Kensington universal model that does the same thing? HP's dock only got three stars on Amazon, Kensington's got 4 1/2. Thanks!

as long as the kensington is FULLY compatible with your HP AND has AT LEAST (if not more) features as the HP docking station I would go with kensington BUT I would recommend that you do a little more investigation than just amazon
